Internship Opportunities

Training HAUS is conveniently located in Eagan at Viking Lakes. Adjacent to the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, the new home of the MN Vikings, this elite performance facility brings everything under one roof. With 22,000 square feet of turf, court, studio, and sports science lab space, this is a place for athletes to train, improve performance and recover. Powered by TCO (Twin Cities Orthopedics), every detail that went into the development of this unique facility is built on a foundation of science, research and world-class sports medicine expertise. Training HAUS offers internships in Sports Performance, Sports Science and Sports Therapy.

PT Students: If you are looking for a clinical rotation, please reach out to your Director of Clinical Education at your PT program to see if there is a contract with Training HAUS/Twin Cities Orthopedics and they can provide the application. Our internships are open applications, but we must have a contract with your school in order to be placed.

To be considered for any internship(s), below are deadlines to apply.

– Fall Internships: July 1
– Spring Internships: October 1
– Summer Internships: March 1

Note: The above deadlines do NOT apply to the Sports Nutrition internship. Applications for Sports Nutrition are accepted at any time.

Sports Nutrition

The Training HAUS Sports Nutrition Internship offers students an opportunity to learn from our industry-leading sports-trained dietitians. This program will provide exposure in knowledge and application of sports nutrition. Students will have the opportunity to work with a variety of athletes ranging in ages and sports while maintaining high-quality fueling station logistics.

Sports Performance

The Training HAUS Sports Performance Internship offers students an opportunity to learn from our industry-leading team of strength coaches and gain exposure to our team of healthcare professionals and rehabilitation specialists, sports scientists and other practitioners. This program will teach students how to design, implement and execute strength and conditioning training programs for high school, collegiate and professional athletes.

Sports Science

The Training HAUS Sports Science Internship offers students an opportunity to learn from our industry-leading team of experts, including sports scientists, sports physical therapists and athletic trainers. Through this program, students will assist with data collection, analysis and interpretation using various biomechanical technologies for high school, collegiate and professional athletes. Students will also complete maintenance and administrative duties in the Sport Science Lab at Training HAUS.

Sports Therapy

The Training HAUS Sports Therapy Internship offers students an opportunity to learn from our industry-leading team of health care professionals/rehabilitation specialists. This program will provide exposure to physical therapists, athletic trainers, chiropractors, dietitian, strength coaches, sports scientists, and other practitioners. Students will learn how to function in a busy sports therapy and performance setting, and how therapy/rehabilitation merges with sports performance.
