Alexis Mashl, PT, DPT, received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a residency-trained sports physical therapist. She has experience working with athletes of all ages and skill levels and applies an individualized approach to help each athlete reach their goals. Alexis has a special interest in working with overhead athletes and rehabilitating complex knee injuries. She is passionate about injury prevention as she personally returned to sport following two ACL injuries. Her philosophy utilizes an evidenced-based approach in rehabilitation to help build strong, confident, and empowered athletes in their return to sport and performance.
Braidy Solie, DPT, SCS, CSCS, received his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of North Dakota and is one of the few residency-trained sports physical therapists practicing in Minnesota. He has worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels, including those at the collegiate and pro levels. He has a personal interest in injury prevention and the rehabilitation of athletic injuries to the knee and ankle. With a passion for optimizing sports performance and a hands-on, individualized approach, Braidy incorporates the latest research, strength and conditioning concepts, sports technology and rehabilitation techniques into his practice.
Brian Holst, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS, is a board certified clinical specialist in sports therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He completed his sports physical therapy residency at Houston Methodist within the Texas Medical Center with focused treatment of athletes of varying ages and skill levels across various sport disciplines. Brian has particular areas of interest in the care of the overhead athlete while taking a comprehensive approach to return to sport with corrective movements, manual therapy, and blood flow restriction.
Brian Ishola, DPT, SCS, CSCS, is a board-certified sports physical therapist who obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has a strong clinical interest in rehabbing knee and ankle pathologies, in addition to concussion/vestibular rehab. As a former collegiate basketball player, his background involves performance training with basketball athletes ranging from grade school to professional athletes. Brian believes in utilizing an evidence-based approach in rehabilitation and sports performance to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Brian also provides physical therapy at TCO Eden Prairie.
Christian Dawson, PT, graduated from Otago University, New Zealand, with a physiotherapy degree, earning honors as a top clinician in his class. He has a manual therapy background in sport and spine and has worked with professional athletes in both injury prevention and rehabilitation roles.
Dan Tabalba, PTA, CSCS, is a St. Paul, Minnesota native. He has been in the industry for 14 years and have worked with athletes of all age and skill levels. He has developed a clinical interest in injuries to the knee and shoulder as well as helping guide athletes back to their sport. With his athletic background, he will use strength and conditioning principles as well as take an evidence-based approach to get athletes back to playing at a high level of performance.
Hanwen Wong, PT, DPT, OCS, earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences. She completed the M Health Fairview Orthopedic Residency where she received in depth training in surgical and non-surgical orthopedic rehabilitation. A long-time dancer and choreographer, Hanwen is passionate about treating performing artists as well as athletes of all ages and abilities. She has given presentations regarding the hip, patellar instability, performing artist physical therapy, and orthopedic clinical reasoning at local conferences and DPT schools.
Jeremy O’Keefe, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS is a residency-trained sports physical therapist and certified strength and conditioning specialist. He has a broad clinical background with special interests in rehabilitative and preventative medicine of hockey athletes and lower extremity injuries. Jeremy has extensive training and experience in coaching and rehabilitating a diverse population of ages and athletic skill levels. His treatment method focuses on integrating the latest research, rehabilitation techniques, and individualized strength and conditioning programming to optimize sports performance and help patients reach their goals.
Jill Monson, PT, OCS is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and active member of the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy. Jill has over 15 years of clinical experience specializing in lower extremity injuries, particularly complex knee conditions. She is active in the local academic community where she routinely lectures at multiple conferences and is associate faculty within the U of M DPT program. Jill has presented nationally and internationally and has authored several medical journal articles and book chapters within her scope of expertise. She enjoys working with athletes of all levels.
Jon Schoenecker, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, CSCS, received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of MN and completed an orthopedic residency at Fairview M Health. Jon is board certified in both sports and orthopedic physical therapy, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He lectures locally and nationally, participates in clinical research, and has multiple publications. Most of all he enjoys using an evidence-informed treatment strategy to help motivated individuals get back to their desired activities as quickly as possible. He has experience treating recreational, collegiate, and professional athletes.
Justin Nicol, PT, DPT, OCS, comes from the cornfields and hockey hot-bed of Waterloo, IA, where he developed a strong passion for the game of hockey leading to a life full of playing, coaching and training at various levels. This allowed a unique opportunity for Justin to work as an adjunct PT with the Minnesota Wild for the last 4 years and develop rehab strategies for injury prevention and recovery to apply to athletes of all ages and sports. He has special interest in treating sports and orthopedic injuries, specifically, lower extremity injuries, shoulders and provides on ice return to play rehabilitation for hockey players. Outside of work, Justin enjoys chasing his 4 yr old son and 2 yr old daughter along with his wife around the lakes of MN, as well as traveling and cheering on the Hawkeyes.
Kelsey Majerus, PT, DPT, SCS is a residency trained sports clinical specialist who has experience treating athletes of all ages and skill levels. As a Minnesota native, Kelsey grew up playing soccer in the Twin Cities before playing at the collegiate level at UW Stevens Point. Through countless knee injuries and surgeries herself, she developed a special interest in the treatment and rehabilitation of the knee, with a passion in injury prevention. Kelsey received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis and uses a movement based philosophy to optimize rehab and performance in her athletes.
Krystan Coyle, PT, DPT, MBA, OCS is a board certified orthopedic specialist who brings 24 years of PT experience treating athletes of all abilities including professional and D-I NCAA athletes. She has advanced training in manual therapy, pilates, functional movement screening and specializes in injuries of the spine, shoulder, hip, knee and ankle/foot. She is a running specialist and holds certifications in ASTYM tool assisted soft tissue mobilization, dry needling and is a Certified Golf Medical Professional with the Titleist Performance Institute.
Michael Shirilla, PT, DPT, SCS, PES, is a board-certified sports specialist who brings years of high-level expertise to Training HAUS. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Central Michigan University in 2006 and served as a team physical therapist for multiple professional soccer teams in the MLS, NASL and WPL. He is currently a part of the medical staff at the University of St. Thomas and travels with U.S. Soccer National teams. His treatment method utilizes a variety of manual techniques, corrective exercises and dry needling techniques to achieve optimal outcomes for his patients.
Quinn Garner, DPT, SCS, received his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Creighton University and completed a sports residency at Samaritan Athletic Medicine in Corvallis, Oregon. Quinn is a former collegiate football athlete as well as high school football coach and has worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels. He believes in incorporating an evidenced based, individualized approach to rehabilitation.
Russell Linville, DPT, SCS, OCS, CSCS is dual credentialed in both orthopedic and sports physical therapy and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He completed his sports medicine physical therapy residency at Proaxis Therapy in conjunction with the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas. He is experienced in treating a myriad of athletic injuries. Russell takes special interest in working with overhead athletes as well as complex shoulder and elbow patients. His experience includes working with both high level amateur and professional athletes.
