Nutrition and having a healthy relationship with food has been something that I have struggled with throughout my entire life. As an athlete, we are told that we need to eat well, eat enough, and keep our performance up; but we are rarely taught exactly how to do that in an efficient way. I was lucky enough to find Kaela Colvard, the sports dietitian at Training Haus. While working with Kaela, I have noticed a huge, positive change in my relationship with food, being able to learn how to properly fuel my body, and also being able to push my performance to the next level. Nutrition coaching has benefitted me tremendously both on and off the ice.
